Scott Morgan, Midland Texas, soccer, English major
Chapter 01
The Roots
Born and raised in Midland, Texas. Oil fields, Friday night football, and big skies in every direction.
Played soccer, earned a scholarship, and stuck around for a bit after college before heading out to see what else was out there. Always had a creative side, gravitated toward writing, storytelling, the way words land when you put them in the right order. Came out the other end with a bachelor's degree in English.

Chapter 02
Origin Story
Started teaching English in Dallas ISD and Midland ISD, which meant figuring out how to make Shakespeare interesting to a room full of high schoolers who wanted to be anywhere else.
That's where it clicked: the material isn't the problem. The design is the problem. Good content delivered badly is just noise. That realization changed everything.

Chapter 03
The Pivot
Earned an M.S. in Learning Technologies from the University of North Texas, which launched the pivot from classroom teacher to corporate learning designer.
First at Fossil Group, where the challenge was designing for a global workforce across retail, supply chain, and corporate teams who all needed different things. Then at The BARBRI Group, where having lawyers as subject matter experts teaches you one thing fast: sweat the small stuff.

Chapter 04
Leveling Up
Joined Dell Technologies and the scale changed completely. Not hundreds of learners. Hundreds of thousands.
Found my footing fast. Started owning courses, then full programs. Kept pushing to elevate the learning design, and built a reputation as a creative, innovative, end-to-end learning experience designer who could take a project from strategy through delivery.
🏆
Received the Silver Award for Excellence in Learning Design at the Learning Technologies Awards. International recognition for a program I conceived and built in close collaboration with one other talented designer. Small team, big impact.

Scott Morgan, Curriculum Manager for Technology and AI Fluency at Dell
Chapter 05
The Tech Fluency Chapter
Promoted to Curriculum Manager for Technology & AI Fluency at Dell. Enterprise learning, emerging technology, and the biggest workforce transformation challenge in a generation.
The core insight: AI fluency isn't all about tools. It's about judgment. Teaching people to open ChatGPT is easy. Teaching them to evaluate output, understand limitations, and apply AI to real business problems is the actual work.
Led the vision and strategy for Dell's tech and AI fluency approach from the ground up. Directed designers, managed feedback cycles, and maintained quality across a growing portfolio of programs. Cross-functional collaboration across business units, building relationships with C-suite stakeholders, and designing for reach across a global workforce. Maturity models, governance frameworks, and reinforcement systems, because one-time training doesn't stick.

What's Next
The story isn't over. It's at an inflection point. Everything from classrooms to enterprise AI fluency has been building toward the same thing: helping people realize their potential through learning, and helping organizations do the same with the technology they invest in.
Ready to increase my impact and build a best-in-class learning team.
